PowerShell Extensions for Ivanti DSM

Prerequisites

The administrative computer, that is the computer that should run the PowerShell Extensions for Ivanti DSM commands and scripts, must fulfill the following requirements:

• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or newer
  
  
• Windows PowerShell 3.0 or newer
  At the time of writing, the current PowerShell version is 5.1, which you can download here. The following operating systems are supported: Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2.

Further prerequisites are, of course, an DSM environment. Supported are releases DSM 2014.1 (Build 2582) or newer. The Business Logic Server of the DSM environment does not need be to installed on the same computer as the PowerShell Extensions, but it has to be reachable via network.

Basic knowledge of the concepts and possibilities of the Windows PowerShell are vital to gain the maximum benefit from the PowerShell Extensions for Ivanti DSM.
