If the following error comes up while opening the PowerShell Console or while loading the Snap-In, a valid license could not be obtained.
Attempting to perform the Start operation on the 'BlsEmdb' provider failed. Could not find license file '<Installation Path>\NwcServices.BlsAdministration.dll.lic'. A valid license cannot be granted for the type NwcServices.NWCLicenseManager.NWCLicenseProvider. Contact the manufacturer of the component for more information. |
Please check:
- If a license file exists in the same directory as the Snap-In-DLL "NwcServices.BlsAdministration.dll"?
- If the license file is named "NwcServices.BlsAdministration.dll.lic"?
- Open the license file with a text editor and check the expiry date (Attribute "LicenseExpiryDate")?
- Check the count of clients in your DSM 2019.1 environment against the license (Attribute "MaximumClientCount")?
