Set-LocalUserProfile

This command allows you to assign a path for a user profile, login script or home directory to a local user account.

A home directory is a directory that a user can access and that contains files and programs of that user. It is the user's default directory for the Open File and Save File As dialogs, for the command prompt, and for all applications where no working directory is defined. A home directory can be assigned to a single user, or multiple users can share a home directory. A home directory can be either a local directory on the workstation or a shared network drive.

Settings:

  • User name
The name of the user account for which the profile settings are to be changed. Select a user via the "..." button or enter the name of the user.
