Synopsis

Initiate System Shutdown

Syntax

Register-SystemShutdown [[-Timeout] <Int32>] [[-Message] <String[]>] [[-Context] <String>] [-AskUser] [-ContinueOnError] [-ForceLogoff] [-Restart] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Use this command to shut down a Windows workstation and optionally reboot it.

Ask user before shutting down Windows.
